Montrose Elders visit the Quarry

Recently, we welcomed residents of Kirkbrae Retirement Village and members of the local Men's and Ladies Shed to our Montrose Quarry for a special day out.

Local resident John Wilson had always been curious about the quarry site, as he used to own a local cafe near Montrose Quarry where he would give Boral drivers free cups of tea and coffee on cold mornings. He reached out to our team to see if the aged care residents could come to see the quarry first-hand.
