Quay Quarter Tower (QQT), named World Building of the Year at the World Architecture Festival, is a 50-story office building that used innovative design and construction materials to minimise its carbon footprint.
This 'upcycled' skyscraper achieved a 6 Star Green Star Rating using Boral's high-performance lower carbon concrete products, Aspire® and ENVISIA®.
Western Sydney International Airport (WSI) is set to become a major hub for international, domestic, and freight flights. Boral has been chosen as the main supplier for producing and laying asphalt on WSI's runways, taxiways, and airside roads.
Working alongside CPB Contractors and ACCIONA, Boral will ensure high-quality, timely, and safe surfacing of critical infrastructure.
Scheduled to open in 2026, WSI will have the capacity to accommodate up to ten million passengers annually. Designed harmoniously with Australia's natural landscape and First Nations heritage, the airport will serve as a shining example of sustainable infrastructure.
The Melbourne Metro Tunnel is one of the largest public transport projects undertaken in Australia. The project consists of five new stations and twin nine-kilometre cross-city railway tunnels connecting the south-eastern and north-western suburbs.
Boral is supplying construction materials for the manufacture of 56,000 precast concrete segments to line the project's twin nine-kilometre tunnels.
Located in the southwest suburbs of Geelong, Waurn Ponds cement manufacturing plant was operational for over 50 years. The recent relocation of its cement manufacturing operations to a new clinker facility at the Port of Geelong has paved the way for the Waurn Ponds site to be rejuvenated.
