Peninsula Link bypasses nine sets of traffic lights and six major roundabouts, connects EastLink at Carrum Downs and the Mornington Peninsula Freeway at Mount Martha and provides uninterrupted travel from the Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne Airport. The project required 580,00 tonnes of quarry products from Boral. The freeway was the first road project in Australia delivered as an Availability Model Public Private Partnership.
Peninsula Link is a 27-kilometre freeway connecting the Mornington Peninsula to Melbourne’s south-eastern suburbs and EastLink.
