Booyal Quarry was acquired by Boral in 2024. It has a significant reserve of hard rock and plays a crucial role in providing quarry materials to Boral's local downstream asphalt and concrete operations in Hervey Bay, Bundaberg and Maryborough.
The hard rock quarry currently supplies a full range of products including Transport and Main-Roads certified aggregates and road bases.
The quarry is already working with Council to expand and grow the site, and Boral has invested in a new automated weighbridge to improve efficiency.
