The IQA Northern NSW Region recently took members behind the barriers at the impressive Coffs Harbour Bypass Project, showcasing the critical role our sector plays in nation-building infrastructure. The tour explored Boral's purpose-built asphalt facility and the engineering marvel at Roberts Hill Tunnel South Portal.
The day culminated in a vibrant networking dinner where 60 quarrying professionals connected while enjoying expert presentations from Andrew Tait (Coffs Harbour Bypass), John O'Reilly (Metso) on China's super quarries, and Luke Jones (Premier Conveyors PTY LTD) sharing material handling case studies.
