Brodie’s road to impact.
Brodie Hartin’s career journey is a great example of how building a career at Boral means growing layer by layer. Starting out in asphalt operations, he learned the ropes from the ground up before joining Boral as a sprayer driver.
When Brodie welcomed a newborn and faced a health challenge, he was offered a new opportunity in Quality Management. It turned out to be a turning point. With his deep understanding of operations and a growing passion for leadership, Brodie has gone on to deliver outstanding outcomes for our customers and the broader industry across New South Wales.
In his time with Boral, Brodie has played a key role in major infrastructure works including Western Sydney International Airport, the Dubbo Airport extension and reseals along the Newell and New England highways.
His knowledge of asphalt operations, technical expertise and calm, supportive approach to leadership has earned him respect from both peers and customers.
Brodie supports junior team members and project partners to succeed and is constantly looking for ways to improve how we work. From standardising bitumen sprayer calibration to training site leaders in digital tools and safety processes, Brodie is always one step ahead.
He’s also become a go-to expert for local councils, Transport for NSW and other clients who value his skill and approach.
Brodie says, “At Boral, building your career isn’t about having all the answers from day one. It’s about being curious, backing yourself to learn and surrounding yourself with good people. Every project, every challenge is a chance to grow.”
