Applications

Blue Circle® Uni‑Grout is used in a wide range of general purpose and structural grouting applications, including:

  • Structural steel grouting (eg base plates)
  • Precast panel and pipe jointing
  • Block and void filling
  • Underpinning and general construction grouting

It is suitable for use where a non‑shrink grout is required to support load transfer and dimensional stability.

Grout performance and handling

Uni‑Grout:

  • Uses Portland cement as the primary binder
  • Includes additives to provide non‑shrink characteristics through controlled gas expansion
  • Is chloride and iron free, reducing the risk of corrosion or staining

When mixed and placed in accordance with product guidance, Uni‑Grout provides good workability without excessive bleeding or segregation under normal conditions.

Strength and coverage guidance

At plastic consistency, Uni‑Grout can achieve high early strength, including approximately 17 MPa after 24 hours, under normal conditions.

Typical coverage as a guide:

  • One 20 kg bag covers approximately 1 m² at a depth of 12 mm at fluid consistency
  • Approximately 100 × 20 kg bags per cubic metre at plastic consistency

Always refer to the product data sheet for detailed guidance.

Range

  • 20kg bags
