In 2026, Boral marks its 80th year of continuous operation, reflecting on eight decades of contribution to Australia’s built environment and the communities it serves. The milestone is being recognised through a national brand campaign focused on Boral’s long‑standing role in shaping everyday life and major infrastructure, which premiered at a customer event held at the Sydney Opera House, a landmark Boral contributed materials to during its construction.
During the anniversary year, Boral has also undertaken a number of customer and industry initiatives aligned with its Australian manufacturing heritage. This includes a major customer giveaway linked to Boral’s packaged cement products, as well as participation in Australian Made’s Made Right Here campaign, where Boral is featured as the sole representative of the construction materials sector, highlighting locally manufactured packaged cement.
The year also reflects Boral’s continued focus on innovation and future capability. In March, the company progressed a commercial trial exploring the use of clay as a partial replacement for cement as part of ongoing work in low‑carbon concrete, supporting the development of future construction solutions.
As Boral enters its ninth decade, the anniversary year serves as both a moment of recognition and a foundation for continued evolution, balancing a proud legacy with a focus on customers, innovation and the future needs of the Australian construction industry.
