Care and Maintenance
Boral Hardwood timber Lining Board comes Pre-oiled, highlighting the timbers natural features.
The long term performance of Lining Board is dependent on regular and effective maintenance. The frequency of maintenance will depend on the type of finish and the degree of exposure to sunlight and the elements. Recoating and any further preparations should be carried out in accordance with the finish manufacturer’s specifications.

Construction in Bushfire-Prone Areas
Blackbutt and Spotted Gum timber species have a natural fire resistance. Their fire retarding properties make them suitable for use in many bushfire prone areas under the Australian Standard AS3959-2009 - Construction of Buildings in Bushfire-Prone Areas.
