Applications
As an additive to cement‑based products
Cemstik® is used as an admixture in a range of cement‑based adhesives and mortars, including:
- Tile bedding mortars
- Repair mortars
- Spalled and damaged concrete repairs
When added to cement mixes, Cemstik® helps improve adhesion and workability for bonded applications.
As a structural bonding agent
Cemstik® is also used directly as a bonding agent in applications such as:
- New‑to‑old concreting
- Bonding renders to brick or concrete walls
- Repairing and re‑topping worn or damaged floors
It is commonly applied to prepared surfaces prior to placing new cement‑based materials.
Surface sealing and preparation
Cemstik® can be used for surface preparation and sealing prior to finishing, including:
- Sealing walls, bathrooms and kitchen ceilings before painting
