An exciting new development in architectural concrete, Boralstone™ polished concrete combines neutral base technology with a wide range of colours to create the beauty of nature with the strength of concrete.
The strength of concrete and the natural beauty of stone come together in Boralstone, Boral's exciting new range of polished concrete. Formed into any shape, just like concrete, then polished into a smooth surface, coarse cut for a rougher finish or hammered to give a pitted effect, Boralstone can also accept glass, crystal, brass lettering or even a cast copper logo insertion into the concrete for a truly unique effect.
With a wide range of colours and stone combinations available, together with hand replacement of special aggregates, glass and marble, a stunning range of textures and patterns can be produced with Boralstone. And all Boralstone mixes are designed with a neutral colour base. Exclusive to Boral, this neutral colour base (similar to off-white) is both attractive when used alone and makes added colours more vivid for maximum visual impact.
Boralstone is very affordable when compared with alternative floor finishes, particularly when laid as part of a structural slab. When laid as a topping, Boralstone is equivalent in cost per metre to timber and tiling and less than terrazzo.
