| Quiet Living |
The changes in our lifestyle and living habits have meant that today more than ever, noise is intruding in our daily lives. The explosion in home cinema and digital home entertainment has resulted in noisier homes and increased stress levels of other members of the household not being able to escape it. Noise control in your home is no longer an option. It's a must.
Boral is proud to offer a simple and cost effective solution to upgrade acoustic isolation within the family home that utilizes 10mm Soundstop plasterboard.
Quiet Living systems are recommended for any wall or floor/ceiling that separates a 'noisy' area (i.e. kitchen, living room or kid's bedroom) from a 'quiet' area (i.e. main bedroom or home office). In two-storey homes with tiled or bare timber floors, Quiet Living ceiling system is recommended to reduce footstep noise from above to the room below. |
