Boral Plasterboard specialises in the manufacture and/or distribution of plasterboard-based wall and ceiling lining systems, compounds, cornices, ceiling panels and tiles, fasteners, trade tools and accessories. This is backed by design and training support services for a customer base of resellers, interior linings contractors and builders.

We have plasterboard manufacturing plants, a specialty plasters and jointing compounds plant, and cornice plants across Australia.

The Boral Plasterboard Team provides technical expertise to, and services the needs of all levels of the building industry across the world. Boral works with stakeholders in the building industry to deliver innovative product and building system solutions. Its capabilities encompass sustainability, structural, fire and acoustic fields as well as compound formulation development.

As an accredited testing laboratory, its facilities are certified for structural testing. Full scale fire and acoustic testing is conducted externally in approved testing laboratories and independent certification is provided where appropriate.

Boral Plasterboard has a long proud history of experience and an extensive collection of acoustic and fire tests and opinions. Engineers work with customers to ensure the correct selection of solutions and, as required, tailor solutions specific to each situation. Having such capabilities allows Boral to contribute greatly to any project.
