Boral has expanded its asphalt paving fleet in Queensland with the addition of two new Roadtec SB2000E Material Transfer Vehicles, with a third unit scheduled to arrive in the coming month following detailing to Boral specifications.

This investment forms part of Boral’s ongoing commitment to upgrading and modernising its asset base, supporting improved reliability, safety and operational performance across asphalt delivery.

Roadtec SB2000E Material Transfer Vehicles are designed to support consistent asphalt mat quality and continuous paving operations while prioritising operator safety and comfort. The units feature advanced material mixing technology and updated operational and safety systems, enabling strong performance in demanding environments.

The SB2000E also includes design enhancements that make maintenance and servicing more efficient, helping to maximise uptime for both equipment and crews.

The new vehicles will be deployed with Boral Asphalt Queensland teams delivering major contracted works, including projects on the Logan Motorway and the Bruce Highway at Dohles Rocks Road. Operator training is currently underway in collaboration with Roadtec to ensure teams are fully familiar with the features and safe operation of the equipment before it is put into service.

Ongoing investment in modern, fit‑for‑purpose plant ensures Boral’s teams are supported by safe, compliant and reliable equipment. These assets play a key role in delivering consistent pavement quality for customers, while also helping crews work more productively with equipment designed around safety and performance from the ground up.
