Boral has strengthened the reliability and efficiency of its cement transport network in Western Australia through a new partnership with PNJB, a professional and highly experienced tanker operator with more than 12 years in the industry. Already supporting Boral’s operations in Victoria and South Australia, PNJB has now expanded into WA to deliver a dedicated and reliable service for our concrete operations.
Safety, Compliance and Supply Continuity
Ensuring safe, compliant and uninterrupted transport was central to selecting a new provider. After reviewing several options, PNJB was chosen based on its strong working relationship with Boral and its proven capability in other states.
Establishing this new service has been an important milestone for both organisations. As Jelly Sandhu, Managing Director of PNJB Group, described it, “Partnering with you to launch our operations in WA has been a significant milestone for both our organisations.”
PNJB Expands Its National Capability into WA
To support the transition, PNJB invested in five brand new cement tankers dedicated to Boral’s WA network. The move reflects the company’s long term strategy to grow its national footprint.
“Starting this new chapter in cement transport has not only expanded our capabilities but also strengthened our long‑term vision,” Jelly said.
He also noted the pride within the PNJB team in delivering reliable services for Boral. “Establishing a strong working relationship and building a reliable service for Boral has been a proud achievement for the entire PNJB Group.”
A Visible, Dedicated Fleet for WA
As part of the partnership, PNJB will progressively update the tankers with Boral branding to support a consistent national presence across the fleet.
Boral General Manager Concrete and Quarries Western Australia, Andre Gobett, highlighted the importance of the new fleet for the region, saying, “Boral is proud to be partnering with PNJB to expand its capabilities in WA. Our dedicated cement tanker fleet is a first step and will be travelling Perth and WA regional sites, so keep an eye out for them.”
Andre also acknowledged the collective effort behind the transition. “A huge thank you to everyone involved for turning this into a great outcome for Boral in WA. Your teamwork and determination made this possible.”
Delivering Value for Operations and Customers
The partnership strengthens supply resilience, supports safe and efficient transport operations and ensures Boral is well positioned to meet customer needs across Perth and regional WA. With PNJB’s expanded national capability and Boral’s ongoing focus on operational excellence, the new arrangement delivers long term value for both organisations.
