On a foggy morning, our Perth team delivered concrete from our Mandurah and Canning Vale plants to Marradong for Theo Building Co.

It took 28 trucks running 200 km round-trips across the day, with some drivers completing three loads to get the job done.

The pour was for South32 Worsley Alumina, where a slab and protective walls were needed around an existing overhead conveyor. The tight site conditions required precision, as haul pack trucks will pass beneath with little room to spare.

The job followed a detailed planning process, including a site visit and multiple coordination meetings to ensure every detail was covered.

“From the initial enquiry late last year to all the planning put into this job – the effort from the whole team along the way – needs to be commended. The many meetings we held to ensure we covered all aspects and the Production team aced it on the day!" said John Barker, Sales Account Manager.

Thanks to great teamwork and clear communication, the delivery went smoothly.

The successful pour has already led to more opportunities in the area, with follow-up orders and new contractor enquiries coming in. It’s a great example of collaboration and execution by our Perth team.
