Sea Cliff Bridge, Lawrence Hargrave Drive, Illawarra, New South Wales

The structure consists 450m long curved balanced cantilever bridge, adjoining a 203m long curved incremental launched bridge, sharing a common pier.

The Sea Cliff Bridge replaced a section of Lawrence Hargrave Drive that had a long history of instability and often resulted in road closures for months at a time. The goal of this ambitious project was to provide a fully available road with a design life of 100 years.
