Graduate Recruitment - Recruitment Process
| A job offer is your formal invitation to commence your career with Boral! Once you accept you will have the satisfaction of knowing your career is now set and you can concentrate on completing your degree. But we will be keep in touch with you to let you know what’s happening at your new company and to make sure you feel part of the team. |
| We value honesty and integrity in all that we do. When we have identified the candidates to whom we would like to offer a career opportunity, we will ask your permission to conduct a background check. This includes verification of employment details on your CV, university achievements, speaking with two referees as well as a criminal record check. |
| Making it to the second round is a big step! You will
meet Boral managers at our business locations and gain a real sense of
our culture and our people. The format of these meetings will be individual
interviews or a group assessment centre. An assessment centre is where
a group of candidates are evaluated over a number of activities. In some instances there may be a further meeting but this will be explained to candidates during the recruitment process. |
| Initial interviews with candidates may be conducted by our partner Northeast Quadrant or Boral Staff. Northeast Quadrant has worked closely with Boral to develop the graduate program and to understand the type of candidates we are after. As a specialist in graduate recruitment Northeast Quadrant also understands the needs of graduate candidates and will do their best to support you through the process. |
| Online application takes around 15 minutes to complete.
You will
need to answer questions about yourself and attach a CV and one page cover
letter. So have your Cover Letter and CV ready – 2 or 3 pages including
a summary of your university grades or academic transcripts. Applications are now open for this year's Graduate Recruitment Program and close on 30th April. |
| Just prior to your start date, we will be in touch
again to make sure you have all of the information you need to have a
great first day! Employment start dates will generally be between October – March. |
