While Boral offers broad career scope within Australia,
it also offers genuine opportunities in its international
operations. Currently around 30% of Boral’s revenue
comes from outside Australia, largely from the USA and
Asia.
International assignments are most likely to be available
to Boral employees with at least several years experience.
This reflects a need to provide specific technical or
management skills to our overseas business units.
Business projects may call for additional temporary expertise
in an overseas site. In these cases, we will reassign
staff from their current role to work short-term in the
overseas location.
For more senior managers, an international role may be
a key element of their personal development program
