Boral moves to combat climate change
Boral trials use of sustainable alternative fuels - Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) - to power Boral Concrete agitators. Boral CEO Rod Pearse says "This is just one example of an emissions abatement initiative that can deliver environmental benefits and business benefits". Compared to the Diesel alternative, CNG cuts transport fuel costs by 60% and reduces greenhouse gas emissions by 7%.
