Boral Design Award - 2009 Winners
The Boral Design Award celebrates and promotes innovative concepts in realistic residential design and was open to architectural professionals and students who could specify from a range of selected Boral products including clay bricks, concrete pavers, retaining walls, roof tiles and timber.
The 2009 Boral Design Award winners were:
• 1st Place ($20,000):
Paul Focic and Jeremy Marsden from Brisbane for "Jacaranda House".
• 2nd Place ($10,000):
Shane Plazibat, Tony Jemmott, Vincent Teo and Jindrich Hozak from
Plazibat + Jemmott Architects (Brisbane).
• Student Category Winner ($4000):
Lachlan Joseph of Queensland University of Technology.
