Boral Hall Quarry
Introduction
The Boral Hall Quarry is one of two hard rock resources Boral operates to supply the rapdily expanding Canberra region.
The quarry was established in 1972 and supplies the aggregates and crushed rock needed to produce materials such as concrete and asphalt.
Although named after the nearby ACT village of Hall, the quarry is sited in the NSW locality of Jeir, around 17 kilometres north of Belconnen.

Section 96 application - May 2012
During October 2011, Boral lodged a Section 96 application with Yass Valley Council to modify the quarry's conditions of consent. This application is now on exhibition for public comment until 30 May 2012.
