topDoes Boral have a Dividend Reinvestment Plan and what are its terms and conditions?
Boral has a Dividend Reinvestment Plan under which you can choose to reinvest your dividends in Boral to acquire additional shares. The minimum level of participation is 100 shares. The number of shares allotted under the DRP is calculated based on the volume weighted average price of all ordinary Boral shares sold on the ASX on each of the ten trading days commencing on the second trading day after the record date of the dividend (at such discount (if any) as the Directors determine, not exceeding 7.5%).
How will my dividends be paid?
As communicated to shareholders in September 2011, dividend payments to shareholders with a registered address in Australia or New Zealand will only be made:
- by direct credit into a nominated account with an Australian or New Zealand financial institution; or
- through reinvestment in the Boral's Dividend Reinvestment Plan (DRP).
Direct credit is a secure, timely and cost effective method for receiving dividends. There is no delay in awaiting the delivery of a cheque, the funds are deposited on the dividend payment date and cleared almost immediately for your use.
You can provide your bank account details on-line via the Share Registry login facility (at www.linkmarketservices.com.au).
Alternatively, you can complete and return either a:
- Request for Direct Credit of Payments form; or
- Reinvestment Plan Application form (if electing for partial DRP participation, you must also complete the Request for Direct Credit of Payments form to receive the residual cash dividend payment).
which may be downloaded from the Share Registry website (at www.linkmarketservices.com.au).
For overseas shareholders without an Australian or New Zealand bank account, you will continue to receive dividends via cheque.
If you have elected to participate in the DRP, a certificate will be sent to you for the number of shares allocated under the DRP at the same time as payment of the cash dividend.
In what months do Boral pay dividends?
Boral pays a dividend twice a year, usually in the months of March and September.
