Boral Montrose Quarry
Extended hours of operation - 2012
The Boral Montrose Quarry has been authorised by the VIC Department of Primary Industries to operate outside of 'normal' operational hours for the remainder of 2012.
The additional hours are required for the ongoing supply of aggregates to the temporary Boral Asphalt plant at Langwarrin.
The asphalt plant is supplying all road surfacing materials to the construction of the new Peninsula Link Freeway. You can read the notice sent to the Montrose Quarry Environmental Review Committee (ERC) membership on 11 July 2012 below.
