Boral Cement
Boral Cement is a leading supplier of cement, lime and fly ash in Australia and of concrete placing services in the New South Wales market through De Martin & Gasparini. The division operates across 11 operating sites in Australia and has around 850 employees.
Boral has cement manufacturing operations at Berrima in New South Wales and Waurn Ponds in Victoria supported by a logistics network covering both states, and owns 50% of Sunstate Cement, which operates a cement milling facility in Brisbane. Boral has dry process cement capacity of 1.4m tpa at Berrima and 800k tpa at Waurn Ponds. In addition, at Maldon in New South Wales up to 300k tpa of off-white and grey cement can be produced as well as a broad range of bagged cement, dry-mix and specialist sand products. The business produces limestone and lime at Marulan in New South Wales.
Boral Cement also markets fly ash acquired from power stations in New South Wales and has a 50% shareholding in Fly Ash Australia Pty Limited.
