Boral is a leading full service supplier of asphalt and technical materials for the surfacing and maintenance of road networks. The division has plants throughout Australia and is a leading supplier to road building and critical public and private construction projects.
Our capability includes fixed and portable operations allowing us to market a range of services including asphalt, spray sealing, pavement design, road maintenance, specialty products and rehabilitation services for all size projects. With operations across Australia, Boral Asphalt is one of Australia's most experienced and respected road surfacing and maintenance companies.
Boral has cement manufacturing operations at Berrima in New South Wales and Waurn Ponds in Victoria supported by a logistics network covering both states, and owns 50% of Sunstate Cement, which operates a cement milling facility in Brisbane. Boral has dry process cement capacity of 1.4m tpa at Berrima and 800k tpa at Waurn Ponds. In addition, at Maldon in New South Wales up to 300k tpa of off-white and grey cement can be produced as well as a broad range of bagged cement, dry-mix and specialist sand products. The business produces limestone and lime at Marulan in New South Wales.
Boral Cement also markets fly ash acquired from power stations in New South Wales and has a 50% shareholding in Fly Ash Australia Pty Limited.
De Martin & Gasparini is a specialist concrete placing business which has been servicing the construction industry, predominantly in the Sydney market, for over 50 years. De Martin & Gasparini has expertise in large pours, detailed formwork design and high strength concrete.
Boral Logistics operates one of Australia's largest dedicated fleets, providing bulk transport and logistics solutions to the construction materials businesses and other Boral divisions. Boral Logistics provides services with the objective of minimising risks associated with safety, compliance and security of supply.
