Boral Silkwood engineered flooring can be laid over any level, structurally sound subfloor such as a concrete slab, particleboard or plywood, even old tiles and timber flooring.
Either the Floating Floor or Direct Stick methods can be used to install Boral Silkwood. Whatever method you choose to use to install Boral Silkwood, we recommend using our range of approved accessories and following our installation guidelines.
Installing Silkwood can be quick and simple. However, Boral recommends the use of a professional installer for a quality finish. When used with appropriate underlay, such as Boral RV-4, Boral Silkwood is excellent for multi-level units where acoustically rated sound proofing is important.
